The 550 kVA three-phase current oil transformer is a high performance transformer for large-scale photovoltaic projects. It is especially suited for connection to two transformerless Voltwerk VC WL 300 central inverters. The transformer is designed for maximum system efficiency and has two galvanically isolated subvoltage coils. The very high efficiency of over 99 % in combination with the very low no-load loss is unique in this performance class. Different types are available on request.
Auxiliary transformer
For ventilation, lights and the monitoring system, the VC WL 300 requires a 230 V AC auxiliary power supply. The dry-type transformer used has galvanic isolation so it can be connected directly to the subvoltage side of the medium-voltage transformer. The maximum power output at an ambient temperature of up to 40° C is 10 kVA.
Information:
Due to the possibility of unequal electric loading of the phases within the system, the transformer should not be run at maximum power.
