String inverter Voltwerk VS series and accessories

The topology and the wide input voltage range allow the connection of all module types (including thin film) as well as the greatest possible flexibility in the wiring of modules.

The innovative cooling system PowerCool and the application of high-quality components guarantee maximum service life for the inverter. Protection type IP 65 and the ambient temperature range of –20 °C to +60 °C allow for an installation of the inverters in practically any environment.

With the Voltwerk VS series it is possible for the first time ever to realise PV systems of up to 5 kW with only one string. This reduces installation expenditure and costs as well as cable losses, which results in higher efficiency of the plant.

Voltwerk string inverters allow an immediate documentation of the current-voltage-curve. Thereby in particular cases wiring faults can already be determined and eliminated during commissioning on site.

Due to the wide input voltage range of the VS series, modules can be flexibly wired. The high input voltage (U_DC = up to 1000 V) permits maximum string lengths for low string losses and cost-effective photovoltaic module wiring.

The exceptionally fast and precise MPP tracking guarantees that there is no loss of output in case of irradiation changes.

The DC disconnect VSC is compatible with all inverters of the Voltwerk VS series. Thanks to the high IP 65 protection type it is possible to install the unit safely outside. In case of a disturbance, the inverter can be exchanged quickly and easily because no free-hanging DC power lines must be clamped.
