Highly efficient string inverter

In this paper the concept of a 5 kW single phase inverter is described which matches the above mentioned requirements on inverters by

  • a new cooling concept which ensures low component temperatures and full load operation at high ambient temperature
  • a topology which ensures high efficiency at low costs by reduced number of components
  • control functions which ensure precise MPP-tracking for highest energy yield.
