Control of efficiency factor and effective power
The maximum output power as well as the efficiency factor cos (φ) can be controlled with the GridControl via remote signalling. Thus the power provider can regulate the system according to local requirements in order to ensure a reliable mains operation. Furthermore, an immediate shutoff
of the plantcan be executed.
Analogue and digital interfaces
Depending on the power supplier and the network connection point, different kinds of signals are used. The GridControl can process digital switch signals in different voltage levels. In addition, the GridControl is able to process analogue signals with common industry gauges for a remote control of the systems.
Transparency
Via the GridControl, the signals issued by the energy supply company are transferred to the monitoring system VM Touch. There, they are registered, stored and displayed in plain text.
High flexibility
The GridControl has been designed for power plants using central inverters from the VC series or thee-phase inverters from the VS series. The connection between the inverters and the VM grid control consists of a CAN-bus. For very large solar power plants, several GridControl can be combined, so the signal from the power provider does not have to be distributed.
| Each GridControl manages up to 60 inverters | |
