Increased system availability

The generator junction box SmartConnect has an electronic safety concept, which does completely without fuse cut-outs. The electronics monitors the current and voltage of all 16 inputs. If the values measured depart from the fixed preset values, the integrated output relays are triggered and establish a safe galvanic separation of in- and output of the SmartConnect.

More transparency at string level

Thanks to the integrated string monitoring of the SmartConnect current output and voltage of up to eight individual inputs can be monitored. The values of the individual strings measured by the SmartConnect can be provided easily for the monitoring system with the help of the CAN distributor. Consequently, the operating manager or installer can monitor the system down to the string level at all times. Thanks to the well thought-out modular concept, elaborate wiring of additional elements for string monitoring is unnecessary.

Lower installation expense thanks to flexible connection possibilities

The 8 separate inputs can be loaded with an input current of up to 20 A. Cables of up to 6 mm² can be installed which are conveniently laid on spring clamp connectors. The output terminals accommodate cables of up to 150 mm². Each terminal has two clamps at the output, which are already connected by a bridge. As a result, it is possible to run several generator junction boxes parallel at the output, which reduces the installation expense in the field.
